The photometric center of the lamp or luminaire is the point, which must be visible to the detector during the entire photometric test and it will represent the point from which all luminous intensity rays are emmited. Photometric tests and measurements of LED lamps and sources may be challenging because they come in many different shapes and sizes. The position of the photometric center is located in different spot for each luminaire.
